The answer was on the bench all along...

Tom Goodwin, Jose Macias, and Paul Bako went a combined 7 for 14 and the Cubs pounded out 14 hits in a win over the LA Dodgers. This big day by the Three Stooges means one of three things:
1) No one knows anything about baseball.
2) On any given day, ANYTHING can happen.
3) The signing of Rey Ordonez will allow Baker to hit Goodwin first, Bako second, Macias third, and Rey fourth, and these four will hit .500 for the rest of the year.
It's probably number two. Hopefully our strategically challenged toothpick-gnawing manager won't think continuing to play Moe, Larry, and Curly will solve their offense problems.
